The old "ten essentials" list was written for minimalist backpacking. A glamping basecamp changes the math, but not the underlying logic: always be ready for the plan to change.
Keep the core four
Navigation, a proper first-aid kit, extra insulation and a reliable light source stay non-negotiable no matter how comfortable the tent is.
Let the rest scale up
A cast-iron kitchen and a real mattress are fine additions once the fundamentals are covered — comfort is not the enemy of preparedness.
